Maryland Heights Center for Behavioral Health Welcomes New Administrator

Maryland Heights Center for Behavioral Medicine is proud to to welcome Rachel Johnson as our new administrator.

Rachel is responsible for leading the hospital’s staff in delivering high quality, compassionate behavioral healthcare for geriatric patients in St. Louis County and surrounding areas. She brings with her more than 15 years of experience in healthcare administration and public health operations. Rachel earned a Master of Science degree and Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.

“Rachel’s commitment to quality care and leadership experience will be instrumental in supporting our hospital operations at Maryland Heights,” said Shawna Nymeyer, PhD, vice president at behavioral health at NHC.

The hospital provides psychiatric care to geriatric patients who require inpatient hospitalization due to mental disorders, including cognitive illnesses. The hospital is adjacent to NHC HealthCare Maryland Heights, a 220-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.
