(January 17, 2022) –The Maryland Heights Center for Behavioral Health has earned the Center for Medicare and Medicaid’s Psychiatric Hospital Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with performance standards. This accreditation reflects a health care organization’s commitment to provide safe, quality patient care.

Maryland Heights Center for Behavioral Health completed unannounced onsite reviews as part of the evaluation process. A team of DNV reviewers evaluated compliance with Psychiatric Hospital Program standards spanning several areas, including environment of care, infection prevention and control, leadership, medication management, and rights and responsibilities of the individuals.
The accreditation is valid for 36 months.
